Our Story
Gift Box Factory was registered under a new name in April 2017 with one mission: to manufacture high quality hand made Gift Boxes to South Africa and abroad. Our passion for excellence is what inspired us in the beginning and it continues to drive us today. We pride ourselves in the superior experience of shopping at Gift box Factory(Crafting) and in the long-term relationships we’ve built with our customers. Clients return to Gift Box Factory(Crafting) because they know they’ll find what they’re looking for – If we don’t have it we make it! As you know, we make all our boxes by hand and human error is real! We use no electric machines as this is a handcrafted arts product. We have very crafty team working and making boxes with love, feeding their families and love being creative, no order is the same.
We all slip up sometimes as we might be having a bad day or we might have received bad news and that directly influence our work and concentration. Nonetheless, that is not an excuse and we want to step up the quality of the products in 2019 and we want to deliver quality products to you no matter what – so please have grace, but feel free to give us constructive feedback.
What We Do
All our boxes are manufactured by hand in our on-site factory. We ONLY use Eco friendly glue(Water based, non hazardous, non flammable), mostly recycled cardboard and the 90% of our paper is also Eco friendly. We don’t use any plastic materials or electric machines in our making process. We take the greatest care to produce quality products, but slight variations in size and consistency in exact location of foiling, gluing and printing( where applicable) is to be expected. Each box is a unique masterpiece created by us for you! Manufacturing time quoted always include the last day for manufacturing and excludes additional time allocated for delivery/collection.
Urgent orders can’t be shuffled around production schedule unless they are marked and treated as a rush job if we can accommodate the Rush order in the production line. Rush job fee( 25% will be added to total price and payment must be done immediately) .
Please note that The Gift Box Factory(Crafting) can’t take responsibility for measuring or suggesting the size of a box on a client’s behalf. Our standard size list is not universal, it was made up by our most popular orders and may differ for other company gift box sizes. We do not have a standard size price list as we use a system to generate the prices according to the quantity required.
We always measure our boxes ON THE OUTSIDE, and use the following
(Length x Width x Height in millimeters).
